What is the Password Page?

The password page serves the specific purpose of displaying a landing page for your customers when they're trying to find your site but it hasn't launched yet. It can provide information about the ETA of launching your site, gather email addresses for marketing and allow people that you've provided a password to access to the site. Create a password page by following Shopify's instructions

Default Password Page Content

By default, we include the password page template in your theme package. It contains these sections:

Main Password
Password Header

You can't create additional password page templates. However, you can edit this template by customizing or removing these sections, or adding new sections. Learn More.
