What are Article Pages?

Article pages, or blog post pages, serve the specific purpose of displaying article content such as the title, body text, publish date and more. Create these article pages by adding articles to your store and utilizing one or more blog page templates.

Default Article Page Content

By default, we include one article page template in your theme package. It contains these sections:

• Main Article
• Related Articles

You can customize this template by customizing or removing existing sections, as well as adding new sections. You can also create additional article page templates and assign articles to utilize any of them. Learn More.

Article Metafields

Shopify offers metafields for articles, which are special fields used to provide unique information. We highly encourage the use of metafields, since it creates a web experience that feels unique and informative, although it is not required. While you can create any metafield you'd like, this theme is uniquely designed to feature the product metafields below.
